Dancing In the Streets

Fete de la Musique is based on an all-night celebration of music in France, first dreamt up and staged by an American musician working abroad at a radio station in the late 1970s and early 80s. The event takes place in various parts of the world each June, in anticipation of the coming solstice. The free Laguna Beach celebration coincides with World Music Day in the spirit of all the music fans moving to the rhythm internationally.
