Moss Cove

Moss Point

Moss Cove is the last public beach at the southern end of the downtown area, before Victoria Street marks the beginning of “SoLag” (or South Laguna).

Bordered by craggy rocks, there isn’t much to Moss Cove – other than beautiful scenery above and below the water, that is. Divers and snorkelers adore this spot for its kelp beds and abundant sea life.

Poke around the abundant tide pools, or take a swim in the (typically) calm waters. Parking is easy enough on the quiet, shady Moss Street. Just note: The beach here can often disappear completely when the tide is high, so be sure to plan your trip to Moss Cove at or around low tide.
