You can’t go wrong with their lemon meringue or classic tiramisu. My personal go to is the 3 pack of French Beignets, stuffed with rich chocolate and creamy Nutella.

Gelato Paradiso is one of the top places in Laguna Beach if you’re looking for something cold, sweet and hard to beat. Gelato Paradiso has become an internet sensation, and for good reason, with some of the best Gelato in town. The line can look daunting but the reward is so worth it. Make sure to try fan favorites like the Dulche De Leche or Tiramisu when stopping by.
The B8kery by Selanne
When thinking of a good bakery, none pops up quicker than The B8kery by Selanne. With a delightful variety of coffees and lattes, these sweet drinks make the perfect pairing for the pastries on the menu. The B8kery by Selanne is a great place to stop by with girlfriends to have a catch-up session, with its pink decor and tasty small bites, it’s always a pleasant place to snack. Looking for a good combo? Try a cranberry orange scone with the churro latte.
Dolce Gelato
Another great stop for gelato here in Laguna Beach is Dolce Gelato. A family-owned gelato shop walking distance from the shoreline, Dolce Gelato has been serving up beloved flavors for years, with seasonal options rotating out, there’s always something new and exciting to try out! Looking to order for a large party? Check out their other dessert options as well as catering! My personal go to when I visit is the Banana Cream Flavor, it tastes just like the pie!
South Swell Ice Cream
South Swell Ice Cream is truly made for Laguna Beach. Located off on South Coast Highway, there’s plenty for all to enjoy. With custom dipped cones and creations, visitors can build their own or enjoy one of the artfully arranged creations created by the South Swell team. For those of us who are vegan/ vegetarian, you’re in luck! South Swell now offers a vegan bar base and a banana base so even more people can enjoy their frozen treats! With their motto being ice cream- beaches- good vibes, you know you can expect a great time down at South Swell.
Nick’s Laguna Beach
To finish off our tour of Laguna’s top desserts we have to end at Nick’s Laguna Beach with their classic butter cake. As the menu states our signature warm butter cake, crystallized sugar crust, vanilla ice cream, fresh berry compote”. This butter cake is one of The Visit Laguna Beach team’s favorite desserts in the whole city. Do yourself a favor and book a table at Nicks to try this amazing cake.
