Fairy and Butterfly Garden
Friends of the Laguna Beach Library Fairy and Butterfly Garden is a great choice for those looking to get a break from the main roads in town. Nothing screams cutesy like a flower garden full of butterflies, filled with the natural and indigenous plants of Lagunas coastal region, it’s a great spot to take inspiration for one’s own garden. A secluded space to rest and recenter oneself, the Fairy/ Butterfly Garden boasts a variety of plants and flowers known to attract butterflies and maybe even some magical friends. Located in front of the Laguna Beach Library, children and those young at heart can enjoy the magical fairy houses and everything else that the Garden has to offer.
Peppertree Lane
A secluded spot located in the heart of Laguna, Peppertree Lane is undoubtedly one of the demurest spots in all of Laguna Beach. Built in 1934, around a living Peppertree, hence the name, Peppertree Lane has become a beloved spot for tourists and locals alike. Walking by too quickly? Blink and you’ll miss it. But for those in the know it’s one of the best quiet spots in all of the Laguna area. Located in the cozy courtyard you can grab a cocktail at the historical Saloon or stop by for a box of chocolates at La Rue de Chocolat, or even a scoop from Gelato Paradiso.
Orange Inn
One of the most iconic places in Laguna Beach, the Orange Inn is a Laguna staple known for its classic diner feel, catering to the original surfers of Laguna Beach. Voted one of the best roadside attractions, the Orange Inn is known for its great coffee, freshly made orange juice and pastries to delight all pallets. Having served the community for over 80 years, the Orange Inn was demure before we even knew what the word meant!
