Summer sun tends to keep Laguna Beach top of mind, however; the fall and winter months are actually our personal favorites! Cue mid-70-degree weather, secluded beaches, festivals, and more.
1. Weather
Bright blue skies, warm sand and cool evenings is how we mark the turning of fall in Laguna Beach. As our days still hold the warmth of summer, our evening skies are painted with fall colors. Plan on an average temperature of 74 degrees.
2. Secluded Beaches
The hustle and bustle of summer is now behind us, and our 30 BEACHES AND COVES become the perfect hideaways. Head to WOOD’S COVE, GOFF COVE or CRESCENT BAY to spend the day feeling like you may have found your own private beach.
3. Festivals
Plein Air Invitational
Each year Laguna Beach turns into an outdoor painting studio with the west coast’s most prestigious plein air art event, the Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational. The Plein Air Invitational promises to be one of the most highly anticipated art events in Laguna Beach. With many artists descending on town, expect to see art around every corner of Laguna Beach.
The Coast Film Festival
The Coast Film Festival exists to bring two massive outdoor communities, the land and the sea, together for a celebration. The topic of ocean and coastline conservation are vital to the future of our planet and our ability to continue enjoying the outdoors. This four day festival takes place throughout Laguna Beach in November. It will be a celebration of everything coast related shared through the best of film, photography, art, and music. The purpose is to bolster awareness and participation with this incredible resource as well as educate the public on how best it should be enjoyed and cared for.
Art & Nature Festival
Get ready to enjoy a different kind of Laguna Beach art festival, as we welcome the ANNUAL ART & NATURE FESTIVAL, hosted by LAGUNA ART MUSEUM. This art festival includes educational programs and special exhibits that continue beyond the festival dates.
