A collection of art by Oriana Poindexter
Blue Forest Portraits is a collection of handmade images on paper and fabric, each one a portrait of an inhabitant of the underwater forests that line the Southern California coastline. Diving deep into the blue forest, Poindexter documents the diversity of species she interacts with underwater using historic photographic techniques.
Included in the show will be a group of works co-created with the Laguna Beach community during the LAM Art + Nature “Portrait of Place” workshop.
