GHOSTS OF LAGUNA Just in time for Halloween, this evening will present the world premiere of an opera vignette about ghosts in Laguna Beach. Set in Ye Old Arch Beach Tavern, this the first in a series of operatic works planned about Laguna’s hidden history and freaky folklore. Opera Laguna, the newest 501c3 arts organization in town, has teamed up with acclaimed local composer Pamela Madsen to commission the work. Come with a curious mind, a light appetite, and a dry whistle. You will learn a thing or two about the history of Laguna Beach and experience the transcendence of the human voice in singing and storytelling. You may even help write an opera.
