July 5 – September 2, 2022
They were a group of passionate artists that wanted to showcase the creativity boom that was going on in Laguna Beach. Now that small street fair has become a world-renowned cultural institution of fine art. This year The Festival of Arts will feature 140 artists from Orange County showcasing art in all mediums, including jewelry, pottery and ceramics, photography and painting. But before you go to this year’s festival here are a few artists and events not to miss.
Micahel Ward brings the everyday life into vivid and compelling reality with paint and canvas. Often you can find him working on a painting in his booth.
Electric and bright, the work of Fred Stodder is as we say in California, “rad.” Bold in his color and shape choice, the ceramics of Stodder are a true statement.
Don’t miss the 300 pieces of junior art on display from some of Orange County’s up and coming artists, the youth. Representing k-12th grade these pieces of art will no doubt leave a lasting impression.
