Blk Dot Coffee:
My favorite coffee shop in Laguna beach has to be Blk Dot Coffee. Blk Dot Coffee is known for their delicious baked goods and infamous Vietnamese coffee. Blk Dot provides a menu with a wide variety of different pastries and beverages (from Vietnamese coffee to hot and iced teas to iced espresso to matchas and many more). My favorite signature coffee to order would have to be Blk Dot’s Iced Dulce VTM Latte; an iced Vietnamese coffee that contains your choice of milk, and is topped off with cinnamon and a caramel drizzle. A dessert in coffee form! You can locate Blk Dot Coffee at 656 N. Coast Hwy Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
Bear Coast Coffee:
If you’re looking for a dog-friendly coffee shop with an ocean view, you need to check out Bear Coast Coffee. Bear Coast is open from 6AM-4PM daily, and is located at 1391 S Coast Hwy Unit A, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Bear Coast is a newer shop that opened in December of 2023. It’s hard to miss this coffee paradise as there are two “BEVERAGES” signs in bold letters on top of the shop. Bear Coast has a simple, customizable menu along with coffee beans you can purchase to make the best at-home coffee. The “online order” feature Bear Coast Coffee provides is helpful and efficient for those looking to grab a cup of coffee to go!
Laguna Coffee Company:
A local Laguna Beach favorite is the mother-daughter owned Laguna Coffee Company. Laguna Coffee Co. is the perfect spot to catch up with an old friend, be productive, and enjoy a wide variety of food options. Laguna Coffee Co. has the best signature toast options from Nutella toast with strawberries, to a whipped feta toast, to a classic avocado toast and eggs, and more. They also serve a lunch menu all day. Laguna Coffee Company also offers a coffee subscription. In their coffee subscription, you receive a monthly “Coastal Brew Box” so you can access Laguna Coffee Co, from the comfort of your own home. It’s $35 a month to subscribe, and you have the option to choose which coffee you want, and if you prefer coffee beans or grinds. You can find this cozy cafe at 1050 S Coast Hwy St B, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
Urth Caffe:
A favorite Laguna Beach restaurant/cafe of mine is the trendy Urth Caffé. Urth Caffé has a huge menu, from breakfast, lunch, and dinner, pastries, desserts, smoothies, boba, and of course, coffee! Urth Caffé’s most popular beverages would have to be their yummy lattes. These lattes are always photo-ready as their talented baristas top them off with beautiful latte art. At Urth, you can enjoy the European-inspired ambience both inside and outside. My personal favorite coffee beverage from Urth has to be their sweet and creamy Spanish Latte Granita. Enjoy the relaxing vibes of Urth at 308 N Pacific Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.

My favorite signature drink at Moon Goat is the Churro. The Churro is made of espresso, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and their amazing Dulce de Leche; you can order hot or iced. When ordering a hot beverage, you can choose the exact temperature you want it at. These temperatures vary from 110 degrees Fahrenheit to 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Jedidiah Coffee:
After more than a decade of preparation, Jedidiah Coffee is now open in Laguna! The owners of Jedidiah, husband and wife Steve and Embry Munsey tried to open a coffee shop back in 2011 but had to unfortunately put their dreams of owning a business on hold as they experienced the stillbirth of their son, Jedidiah. Steve also had a back injury during this time. They knew it was best to wait to open their shop. Laguna Beach is lucky enough to now have the amazing Jedidiah Coffee open. My order at Jedidiah is a vanilla cold brew latte, with oat milk. Jedidiah has a perfect summer vibe and is a great spot to catch up with friends at their outdoor seating. Jedidiah Coffee is located at 2177 Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach, CA, 92651 and is a quick walk from Heisler Park. Jedidiah is the perfect cafe to stop at before a walk through Heisler!
Endless Quest Roasters:
New to Laguna Beach, Endless Quest Roasters has quickly become a popular option in my Laguna Beach coffee rotation. Endless Quest Roasters is located at 610 N Coast Hwy #100, Laguna Beach, CA 92651, with operating hours of 7 AM to 3 PM daily. Endless Quest’s specialty is their wide variety of very special, unique flavored coffee beans. They also offer a wide variety of milk, which I know is a concern for many! The staff are all very friendly and make getting a cup of coffee a great experience! Make sure to check out this new Laguna favorite of mine.
